These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and Stacked Health Group, Inc. ("Stacked Health," "we," "our," or "us"). They govern your use of our website at stacked-health.com (the "Site"), including any tools, content, and paid features we offer.
By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
01Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Site. If you are under 18, you need parent or guardian permission. You represent that you can legally enter into these Terms and are not barred from using the Site under applicable law.
02The Site
The Site provides editorial content, a newsletter, a job board, and data tools covering health, life sciences, and related topics. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
Our newsletter is hosted by Beehiiv. Subscribing to the newsletter is governed by Beehiiv's terms in addition to these Terms. The job board links to third-party employer postings; we are not the employer and are not party to any application or hiring process between you and a listed company.
03Paid Tools & Paid Newsletter
We offer or may offer paid tools accessible through the Site, as well as a paid tier of our newsletter operated through Beehiiv.
Plans
Paid offerings may be sold as one-time purchases or as subscriptions that automatically renew until cancelled. Pricing, billing frequency, and what's included are described at the point of purchase.
Billing
Payments are processed by third-party providers (such as Stripe for tools on our Site, and Beehiiv's payment processor for the paid newsletter). Their terms and privacy practices apply to the payment transaction. We do not store full payment card numbers.
Cancellation
You can cancel a subscription at any time through the platform where you purchased it. Access continues until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again after cancellation.
Refunds
Except as required by law or expressly stated at purchase, payments are non-refundable.
04Health Disclaimer
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making any decision about your health, including starting, stopping, or changing any medication, supplement, or therapy. If you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency services.
We do not endorse any company, product, or treatment we cover editorially.
05Intellectual Property
The Site and its content (including articles, newsletters, data tools, datasets, software, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks) belong to Stacked Health or our licensors. You may share short excerpts and links for non-commercial purposes with attribution. You may not otherwise copy, republish, modify, scrape, or distribute our content without our written permission.
06Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Break any law or these Terms;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems;
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract content or data from the Site, including for AI training, except as expressly permitted;
- Upload or transmit malware or malicious code;
- Use the Site to harass, defraud, or exploit others, including minors;
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation in any communication with us.
07Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or any paid feature if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or if required by law. For paid features, we will provide a pro-rated refund of any prepaid amounts covering the period after termination, unless termination is for your breach.
08Disclaimers
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Site will always be accurate, error-free, or uninterrupted.
Information on the Site about companies, products, biomarkers, and other topics is provided for general informational purposes and may not be current, complete, or applicable to your situation.
09Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Stacked Health will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
- Our total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site, in any 12-month period, will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us during that period, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
10Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stacked Health, its officers, employees, and partners from claims or expenses arising from your use of the Site or your breach of these Terms.
11Governing Law & Disputes
U.S. users
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
EEA / UK / Swiss users
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights. You may bring disputes in your local courts and rely on mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.
12Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated (for example, by website notice or, where we have your email, by email) at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Site after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.
13Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13 (U.S.) or under 16 (EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect their data. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
